It's been a while.
It's been a grand weekend in Huddersfield, what with the Huddersfield Food & Drink festival 2014!
We sampled a fair bit of the produce on offer and it was all top banana.
The main reason for going was to see the bands that were booked in this year, namely,
Storm, Fiery Biscuits, Helter Skelter & Vital Signs!
All fine outfits I'm sure you'll agree and if you haven't had the pleasure then look them up and go and have a listen, well worth it.
Who knows, we may turn up there one year with a cheeky little slot paying due respect to the 60's! :-)
As it stands, we're playing at Golcar Cricket Club on September 14th, a welcome return to the Keighley & Worth Valley Beer festival on October 26th and a pre Christmas gig at The Foresters in Crosland Moor on December 20th.
We'll have to find a date in November, just to keep us ticking over!
We've enjoyed a fair few gigs already this year, having just had a great time at Keighley Golf Club, played on the Penistone Line music train again and had a rocking time playing for the Kirklees Culture Club's 'Club 55' in Huddersfield town centre which ended up on Radio Leeds and was a great success!
We also did a 60's history lesson at a local school, playing various songs for the kids and explaining all about the great decade!
Anyway, let's hope we see you somewhere during this year!
